I began writing musical theatre in 2006, with a one act play called Little Dog on the Prairie, a cautionary tale about prairie dogs in Texas that was performed in Hyde Park Theatre's Fronterafest Short Fringe 2006. In 2007 I wrote another one act play, Sisters of the Sea: A Pirate Musical, which made it into Fronterafest Best of Fest 2007. In late 2007 I decided it was time to write something a bit longer, and Devil in the Details: An Office Musical was born and premiered during Fronterafest Long Fringe 2008.

Immediately following Long Fringe I found a wonderful new opportunity in the City Theatre's Summer Acts festival, where my work Crazy Like a Person won Best Original Play/Playwright.

The 2009 New Year began with another one act play, After School Special: The Musical, which made it into Fronterafest Best of Fest 2009.

I am currently working on an environmentally themed operetta that will be performed in early 2010. I am planning on doing another TBA production summer 2009. Check out Austin New Music Workshop for my upcoming musical theatre events.
